SHARON FORSYTH
Sharon was diagnosed with alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) in 2019 and is an advocate for people with AGS. She is the creator of Alpha-gal Information, the most extensive resource on alpha-gal syndrome, and is the founder of two nonprofits, Alpha-gal Alliance and Alpha-gal Alliance Action Fund.

Alpha-gal Alliance promotes the health and well-being of people with alpha-gal syndrome through education and awareness, advocacy, support for research, capacity building, and direct support for people with AGS.

Alpha-gal Alliance Action Fund advances policy solutions that improves the lives of people affected by alpha-gal syndrome.
Sharon's background is in international conservation, rural development, and philanthropy. She has a degree in biology and economics. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband, who also has AGS.
