PARKING and DIRECTIONS

We are receiving a robust turnout for the Symposium! This means room for parking at our Center will be tight. We strongly suggest you carpool, if possible.

Below, you'll find Symposium parking options:

The Complex Carbohydrate Research Center has an upper and lower lot.

Directions:

Upper Lot: When exiting off Riverbend Rd, take an immediate right and drive around the bend. Then, make a left to see the main entrance.

Lower Lot: When exiting off Riverbend Rd, stay straight until you reach the parking lot. Take the sidewalk to the right of the loading dock to the double doors on the right. There will be a sign.

If both lots are full, you can park at UGA's E23 Park and Ride lot. The parking area at the back left side of the lot is reserved for Symposium guests. The CCRC will have a 12-passenger van picking up guests every hour, on the hour.

Directions: When you get on to College Station Rd from Riverbend Rd, turn right. At the first traffic light, you will see a stone sign on your left that says "North Oconee River Greenway." Turn left at that traffic light and drive until you see the E23 sign and parking lot on the left.

* When coming from I-85 southbound - Follow I-85 S to GA-106 S in Franklin County. Take exit 166 from I-85 S. Follow GA-106 S & US-29 S until the road turns to Hwy 441 southbound. Exit on to College Station Rd - exit 7. Make a left.
At the second traffic light, make a right on to Riverbend Rd.

*When coming from I-85 northbound - Follow I-85 N to GA-316 E/State Hwy 316 E, US-29/University Parkway & US-78 E (known at the 10-Loop locally) to College Station Rd - exit 7. Make a right. Then, at the traffic light, the first right turn is Riverbend Rd.
